Review progress
Read accuracy and compliance at a glance, then decide what changes.
Goal
Answer "is this working?" in under two minutes: accuracy trend, home-practice compliance, and flags (On track vs Needs attention). Words follow your mode: client here means student on school accounts, and labels match what you see on screen.
Before you start
You need 2–3 sessions or game plays. One session is a dot, not a trend. Empty states are normal early: Play some games to see your accuracy trend here, No practice sessions yet, No games played yet.
Steps
- Start on the client profile (Clients → name): header pills show
{N} active goalsand On track or Needs attention: no active goals / not seen in 3+ weeks. Open the Goals & Progress tab (school mode: IEP & Goals). - Read the chart at
/help/review-progress#read-chart: Practice Accuracy Trend up-and-right means the target is being learned; flat for 3+ sessions means change the cue level or target; single low dot after gains usually means a bad day, not regression. Ignore days with zero plays — flat-zero days are no data, not failure. - Check compliance beside accuracy: Games This Week, Avg Practice Accuracy, Time Practiced, Most Practiced Sound (on
/dashboard/progress, filter All Children), and per-client Accuracy, Home Sessions, Words Practiced, sound-mastery badges, and the Active Homework Assignment block. - Work the dashboard flags: Needs attention rows (
Session note overdue · {N}d,No session in 3+ weeks) link to the client; Dismiss hides the row for this visit only (it returns on reload — it is not stored). - School mode extras: Progress Monitoring expects four data points per cycle (Point N written / Point N sent checkboxes), and Service Minutes compares planned vs delivered with an Auto-tracked note. Owner KPIs (Active clients, Sessions this month, Notes signed) live on
/dashboard/practice-overview— those are clinic numbers, not child progress.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Chart is empty | Play/record 2–3 sessions first. The Bryce C. Example card (empty caseload only) is the one demo that shows a trend. |
| Accuracy and compliance disagree | High accuracy + low home sessions = prompt more practice, not harder targets. Low accuracy + high sessions = simplify cues first. |
| Recent activity row opens the client, not the session | Expected. From the client, use the Sessions tab then New Session to reach the note. |

Next
- Plan next steps: turn the read into a lesson plan or homework change.
- Write a SOAP note if a Session note overdue flag is up.
